Barcelona Launch Bold New Home Kit for 2025–26 Season

Published on Jul 02, 2025

FC Barcelona have officially unveiled their home kit for the 2025–26 campaign, returning to their signature Blaugrana stripes with a modern twist. The launch, revealed on July 2 via a dynamic promotional campaign, features both men’s and women’s stars and signals the club’s renewed ambition ahead of their return to Camp Nou.

Classic Design, Modern Finish

The new home kit blends tradition with innovation:

  • Gradient Vertical Stripes: The iconic red and blue stripes now feature a smooth gradient effect, symbolizing constant movement and energy reflecting Barça’s dynamic style of play.
  • Yellow Accents: Sponsor logos, including Spotify (front) and Nike’s swoosh, are printed in bright yellow, offering sharp contrast to the shirt’s base colors.
  • Catalan Identity: A subtle imprint of the Catalan flag and the club crest appears on the upper back, while "FC Barcelona" is printed inside the collar.
  • Sponsor Details: Ambilight TV remains the men’s sleeve sponsor, while Bimbo appears on the women's kit. UNHCR continues beneath the back number for both teams.

Technology and Performance

Nike’s Dri-FIT ADV technology is integrated into the kit, enhancing sweat control and breathability. Mesh panels across high-heat zones aim to boost player comfort in competitive conditions.

Launch Campaign and Player Involvement

The unveiling featured key first-team stars including Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Raphinha, Alejandro Balde, R. Lewandowski, and Fermin López . In a short video, Yamal proclaimed: "This smells like Champions," hinting at the squad’s determination to push for European glory under new manager Hansi Flick.

On the women’s side, Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí, and other first-team regulars also showcased the new look, reflecting the kit’s cross-team integration as the club continues to build on its domestic and continental success.

Missing Faces and Transfer Speculation

Notably absent from the promotional material were senior players Marc-André ter Stegen, Ronald Araújo, and Frenkie de Jong, fueling ongoing speculation about potential summer departures.
